Sunil Kapur – Chairman


Sunil is the driving force behind the rapid growth and expansion of Blue Foods. He is responsible for joint ventures, international tie ups & identifying and securing potent and viable sites for Blue Foods in India and abroad.

His undeterred vision, passion and drive to dominate food retailing across India has earned Mr. Sunil Kapur a position that pronounces him as a leading and well-respected individual in the Indian Restaurant Industry. Developing ‘Copper Chimney’ into a culinary landmark is just one of his achievements.

Pramod Arora – CEO

Mr. Pramod Arora, CEO

Mr. Pramod Arora, aged 44 years, is an engineering graduate from class of 1992. Mr. Pramod Arora was leading PVR Limited as their group president. He spent about 18 years at PVR, and was instrumental to making it the largest and most profitable cinema multiplex company of India.

During Mr. Arora’s tenure and leadership, PVR Limited grew from a humble 4 screen company with a turnover of USD 1 million in FY 1998 to a 478 screen powerhouse with a consolidated turnover of over USD 200 million in FY 2015. He successfully led the IPO of the company in 2001 followed by a very successful acquisition of Cinemax Limited in 2012 to help make PVR attain a marquee position in the Indian cinema exhibition space.

Besides his experience in the cinema exhibition, he also led the diversification initiative of PVR into film production and distribution. PVR Pictures, a subsidiary of PVR Limited is the largest independent distributor of Hollywood films in India. He also had a one-year stint at Oberoi Realty as Chief Operating Officer in 2008.

Sanjay Malkhani – Head of Production


A pioneer in new cuisine and possibly one of the new breed of designer chefs, Sanjay has taken flavors from Indian food and merged them with continental cuisine, far eastern and continental cuisines to the delight of many a gourmet. Having co – authored a book called ‘Foods of India’ for the Oberoi Hotels, Sanjay is also credited with cookery shows on television with Jiggs Kalra and Karen Anand. Sanjay is also the only Indian chef whose recipe was shown in the leading hotels of the world magazine with 3 other international chefs.

With over 32 years of experience, Sanjay was associated with the Oberoi Hotels for over 18 years at various locations. At Blue foods, Sanjay is responsible for Production and creation of new menus for all the formats.

C R Vasudevan – CFO

vasu_CFOC R Vasudevan is the CFO of Pan India Food Solutions Private Limited, and he leads the financial and commercials goals of the company, besides other administrative and control functions. Vasudevan, an alumnus of IHM Mumbai (the premier Catering College in India) has the unique distinction of having worked in possibly all the functions of the restaurant business before taking control of the finance portfolio.

Carrying an immense first-hand knowledge of restaurant operations of more than 16 years before holding the helms of the finance function, he takes charge of not just the finance portfolio but also administrative, controls & all commercial functions of the company.
